Abstract

Władysław Sala's research on the attitudes of Silesian youth in the 1930s indicates the social changes taking place at that time and the developing conflicts. These were the only surveys conducted in the autonomous Silesian Voivodeship. The author of the review emphasizes that there are many more similar sources for the social history of Silesia, although they are not used in  the historiography of the region.
